Do you have any homes available for rent or sale?

This is consistently the most common question we get. Mill Hollow Community rents the lots and manages the community but for the most part the homes are individually owned by different owners. I will try to keep an updated list of the homes that we know are available for either rent or for sale HERE. However, most of our home owners advertise their homes on Craigslist, the BYU-Idaho Bulletin Board, or other Rexburg Housing Facebook Pages if they are not listed here, or they post signs outside of the home. If you are looking to buy or rent a home in the park, please remember that you must first be approved through the park application process with details found HERE.

What is the lot fee and what is included with it?

Our lot fee is about $475.00 for homes that are subleased out and about $445.00 for homeowner occupied homes. The base rent is $427.00 for subleased and $402.00 for homeowner occupied then the sewer and water are prorated between each home and are added to the base rent amount. The sewer runs about $35.61 a month and water runs about $10-$17.00 a month. We also include trash in the lot fee. Trash pick up is bi-weekly. If you would like weekly trash it would be an extra $7.41 a month. Monthly statements are either mailed or emailed out.

Are animals Allowed?

Yes, we allow two indoor animals. If your animal is a dog, we have a list in the office of unacceptable breeds. Please call the office to find out what those breeds are 208.356.3326. All animals must live inside the home. We do not allow chickens or other unusual pets that are considered outside pets.

Can I rent out my home if I own it?

Yes, several homes in the park are used as investment properties by their various owners. However, you cannot own more than two homes in the park to rent. Each new tenant must first pass our application process.

Is everyone who applies to Mill Hollow Community Accepted?

No, the application checks four specific areas: Credit, Criminal, Previous Rental History and Employment. If you have a specific concern give us a call  or come in and discuss it with us. For the most part if there are any red flags in any of these categories there is a higher chance the potential resident may not be allowed in the park.

Are the roads plowed in the winter?

We try our best to stay on top of the snow fall in the Winter and plow the streets. We do not plow the walkways or driveways.

Can I move my own home into the Community?

Yes! As long as we have empty lots we would love to have your home as part of our community. The home must be a 2000 or newer and be in good condition. Give us a call to select a lot or have your home approved. Details on renting a lot found HERE.
